Framestore CFC, based in London is Europe’s largest post-production house. We were kindly accepted to meet with one of the teams who give their explanation behind the post-production work of a particular project. Andy, Dale and Stéphane talk about the creation of the commercial ‘Sure go Wild’ (for Rexona). Using a mix of film production techniques and the latest 3D technology, the team have brilliantly brought to life a hurd of animals larger than life. Rampage in the city ! The interview sheds light on the new role of “post-production” in making these types of film.

Slinky pictures is a rare studio of its kind because its main interest lies in producing short films and pushing their director’s creative role rather than simply relying on commercial work.We met up with Chris Shepherd and a handful of the team who give us their insight into this tiny World of successful creations. The short film ‘Dad’s Dead’, by Chris Shepherd has received many prizes and has become a reference in its genre. Chris talks about the inspiration behind the film as well as presenting his latest creation, ‘Silence is Golden’. Director Laura Heit talks to us about her short film ‘Look for Me’ : a rather unique animation about an invisible character.

We met up with Angela Detanico & Rafael Lain, two bresilian graphic artists who set up residency two months ago with the Frac Pays de Loire. On that edge where art and graphics have remained in conflict for aeons, they work together since 1998 indifferent to the debate. Indeed, they do not hesitate in flowing between art, graphics, scenography and typography. On the edge is where they can be found.
